The Tamil word “Thenkoodu” translates to Honey Comb, which is an extraordinary example of planning and executional excellence. A honey comb, scientifically is a hexagonal filed structure built by a column of bees that uses the minimum material to create a lattice of cells in the least possible perimeter – nature’s own master class on cooperation and efficiency.
At ‘Thenkoodu’ , the highest spiritual force of nature is our Queen bee, thus guiding us – the humble worker bees to achieve the vision set forth by our organisation. Our’s is a socio economic forum comprising of like-minded people from different walks of life viz Agriculture, Manufacturing, Trading and Services.
Bees show a pattern of extreme unity and togetherness, a rare trait amongst all forms of life. Taking a leaf out of our constitution’s Preamble ‘Thenkodu’ is ‘by the people’ and ‘for the people’ highlighted by the ability to co-operate and excel by each individual constituent. A Bee hive starts with the scout bee’s waggle dance of finding a lively place to build a hive. Likewise we have chosen the lively and happening city of Coimbatore as our base business hub. The formation and making of the organisation has been on the cards since 20__ . ‘Thenkoodu’ has been integrated through process orientation and every process of formation is being celebrated.
